Original Beauty & the Beast Wedding Inspiration
An amazing tale told by Tara Nichole via this amazing original Beauty & the Beast wedding inspiration, playing on the original fairytale instead of the Disney one that we all know and love.
From the photographer:
“Little girls often dream of becoming a princess and marrying their Prince Charming. It is not often a grown woman gets the chance to play one of her favorite princesses and spend the day in a gorgeous gown with her real life prince. Ashley Jones of Beginning and End Photography and Jackie Pearman of Jackie Rose photography loved the idea and worked endlessly to bring this vision to life. Loosely based on the animated version, but mainly on the classic novel, this Beauty and the Beast styled shoot excited the inner princess in all of us as we walked up to the incredible Shafer Baille Mansion.
It’s magnificent towering stone architecture and dark wood interior set the stage for a modern version of this beloved story. Bespoke Strokes provided a gorgeous hand written letter from Beauty’s father. Gowns from Rent the Runway and beauty by Sara Butler and Lily the Artist brought the characters to life.
Angered that their father has yet to return with their requested treasures of pearls and jewels, Belle’s wicked sisters treat her with contempt for her kind hearted nature. They revel in the fortune of their father which sets them in stark contrast to their kind hearted sister. Peasant Beauty (never actually named in the original tale) receives word from her father that he has been captured by the Beast in his search for a rose for Beauty. She sets off in search of the Beast’s castle, making her way through dangerous woods.
Upon her arrival she is greeted by an isolated space, full of a treasure trove of books and antiques. Her relationship with the Beast is tumultuous to say the least and he is torn by his budding love for her and his selfish nature. As fate would have it, Beauty and the Beast fall in love, breaking his curse and returning him to his true form.”
